The Jewish Genealogical Society of Greater Miami presents The Jewish Historical Society of Southwest Florida with MARINA BERKOVICH, founding president and acting CEO. The program includes a discussion moderated by SYLVIA GURINSKY, South Florida Historian, and will feature SWFL JEWISH PIONEERS documentaries WHEN DESTINY CALLED – First Synagogue in Marco Island effort spearheaded by Elena Rosner, Holocaust survivor; and CHIEF PLAGER – the story of RICHARD PLAGER - The first Jewish policeman on Sanibel Island.
